Koda Kumi has just announced a short series of live sessions, called “Billboard Lives” for this October. Set in Osaka and Tokyo over an eight-day period, the concerts will be divided equally between the two cities.

These performances will be quite different from her usual affairs – casual wear is strictly forbidden, as the series reinforces a formal dress code. There will even be live bands to set the mood! Sophistication aside, glowsticks and other support equipment will be allowed.

Billboard club members will be able to get their tickets first on September 9th, while the remaining fans must wait for general admission tickets to go on sale on the 15th.

Koda Kumi releases her new single “Sukide, Sukide, Sukide/Anata Dake ga” on September 22nd and her “KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2010 ~UNIVERSE~” DVD will become available on October 6th. The limited editions of both will come with the invitations to these special Billboard Lives.

Koda Kumi will be releasing a special cover album on October 13th titled ETERNITY ~Love & Songs~. She will be covering many famous songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s updating them to sound more modern. Some of the songs will apparently even have hip-hop interpretations.

Cover of Koda Kumi's 2011 calandar, release date is October 23rd. The calendar is 7 pages and will be "B2" size.

A special charm edition of Koda Kumi's latest single Suki De Suki De Suki De was released via mu-mo, avex's online shop. Along with the charm the cover of the single was different than the regular versions.

Koda Kumi will be releasing her 49th single on February 2nd titled "POP DIVA", which will apparently be an electro dance number. Regular stores will have the standard CD only and CD+DVD editions while those who attend her upcoming Tokyo Dome concert will be able to order a special version.
