A Happy New Year!

The best wishes for the new year.

Well, 2012 was a tough year, but it was gone, and I am making a new start....

As usual, the year begins with a bumpy start. (laugh)

It isn't a (laughing) matter.

But I am hoping that I am able to grow.

Something I lost and found, and I intend to grab all of those and to walk through by my own feet.

For me, 2013 has already brought me a difficult start, but I keep believing that I will make this year a fulfilling year.

It begins

finally......

It was coming so rapidly, but a the same time,
I was waiting for this so long.....

The rehearsal for ZANNA,

Today is the first day.

I am going to join a singing practice.

To be honest, I feel pressured.

I am whining from the beginning.

Oh, by the way,

A lot of people are catching influenza.

My mother, my older brother, my kid cousin, all are having influenza.

I have to be careful......

This time, a period of time for the practice is much shorter, and I have
several times more things to remember.

This must be my own hardship to bear....God.

I only do it by believing that something will be waiting after bearing the hardship.

I feel slightly blue today, and instead of a cloudy day like today.
I hope to see a bright sunny day.

The Scenes of Our Practice Studio

Hi, how are you?

I am on the way home.

I want to go to the bathroom, but I am trying to hold it. (laugh)

Today, I managed to get it done.

This has to be like a teething fever.

I am ready to blow out.

Today, we had a practice at the studio with lots of memories.

I felt a pain in my heart.

I met the familiar members and new friends.

What I Learned

Hi.

How are you?

Today, I will do a singing practice again.

The practice for ZANNA is so much harder than that for RENT as
there is hardly any break available. (laugh)

Today, what I have learned in a few days is.....
That is, something with a high calorie which I can eat it right away within three minutes,
and something which I can absorb sugar in order to wake my brain that becomes inactive due to a physical fatigue.

Not to mention, I am not playing a survival game.

Today, I learned, and to the studio I brought something sweet like madeleine cakes and etc. which I can eat them with two bites.

Everyone is pushing so hard in a short period of time.

ZANNA.

Long Time No See and Tohoho (I am so ashamed.)

I've been practicing so hard that I don't even have enough time to update the blog.

We are now in a rehearsal with choreography with music,

And I am dancing.

Hallelujah

When the sky is clear, it almost make my heart refreshed.

Today, I have a rehearsal again.

For some reason, a voice warm up exercise before the rehearsal is

I am spending a day in this way, but it is somewhat fun.

Roberta, the role I play for this musical, I am used to be her,
and I steadily managed to do well with dance routines. Things are pretty good so far.

This is a story with laughter and a bit of melancholy, but overall, it is a fun school story

Homosexuality and hetrasexuality,
LGBT and people in between them.

Many methods for love and friendship.
This is a work that contains so many different messages.

Yes, this is the work which I want as many people as possible to see.

I believe that the perspectives for expressing love and love for other people may change
by the time you finish seeing this. In the world we live in, there are so many forms of love, and each one of them is unique. Therefore, I believe people will think that human beings are, indeed, outstanding beings.

We don't understand it.

Not that, we don't try to understand it.

We don't know it.

Not that, we don't try to know it.

In this world, there are ways for love which we don't know. Just like us, they are warm, tender, and wonderful.

Oh,

A Weekday but a Day off in the Early Afternoon

Hi, long time no talk.

Everyday, everyday, we've been practicing and doing rehearsals.

I finally got a day off but don't know what I should do.

Would I rather feel better if we have no day off but do rehearsals?

To try to do something and to do it well gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Nothing can replace it.

That may be why people keep challenging even if it is hard to do.

Right now, the musical we all are creating
ZANNA.

Since this will be the first performance in Japan, the tickets are not selling fast enough.

Well, that is the way it is.

Because this is the first performance, we can be particular about it, and casts and staffs --all of us are making this musical in the perfect harmony.

I don't like a corny phrase, but

I honestly want as many people to see this musical.

It took several years for this musical to be able to performed in Japan, and people in enthusiasm finally managed to show this musical in February, 2013.

Its content is with strong messages about homosexuality and religion. These subjects are not easily accepted in this Japanese culture.

Yet, the time changes, and people's perspectives change, and this musical is now under the bright light. And I am proud of being one of the cast members in the first performance of the musical with such history.

Well, despite these subjects, the story is fun and pop with elements of comedy. I think audiences who will feel cheerful to see it.

Please help and support us so that we will be able to show this musical again in the future!

Long Time No See

Long time no see, everyone.

I've been busy everyday, and we are now in the studio.

We have a rehearsal at Crea today.

I miss this place, and I am also happy to be on this stage in Crea.

I read your comments on my last entry.

I realize that there are lots of feelings.

But more than that, I must say I am a happy person.

Despite all those things, I am with you who wait for me.

Therefore, I have to show you the perfect smile on the stage.

At Last,

Finally, tomorrow is the opening day.

Today, from now, we are going to do the costume rehearsal.

The practice began in the beginning of the new year, and I knew it, but everything is moving so fast that a curtain is up and the closing day will be coming. laugh

Because there is the end, it is vain and real.

After Talk

Yoo-hoo!

Today, a half of the schedule is over (laugh)

Well, we had an after talk (show) after the stage yesterday. RENT✖ZANNA

We had YoSuke who played as "Angel" in the last musical, and Miz who played as "Maureen" one before the last musical. (I am not sure. I am sorry.)

We talked about the impression they had after seeing the ZANNA and what was similar to RENT. We had fun talking.

Today, we have a matinee and the stage in the night.

A half way done.

I will push myself even more!!

The Important Thing

When I begin something new, I feel refreshed and can be as I am.

Then, I can be kind to others.

When I begin something new, I will hit the wall.

Then, I will end up meeting with "selfish me" hidden in my mind.

When I begin something new, I will be introduced to many new friends.

There, I may find someone I feel comfortable or uncomfortable.

The important thing is:

Not to forget treating people well with love

in any circumstance, in any time.

Once again, I was supported by a person who sent one strong heart to me.

I have been doing all the activities mostly by myself. Therefore, the stage is refreshing for me since so many people are involved for the creation, bringing me a surprise, a failure, a joy....and many other experiences.

The musical gives me a chance to make me feel that I am having such fun everyday.

The Last Day

The last day performance was successfully ended.

Day by day, lots of people visit the theater, and quickly six days were gone.

I am proud of living as Roberta in this company.

I thank all the people who have supported us.

And many of my friends came to see me.

I Changed the Color of My Hair

Finally, I have a freedom to change my hair in any color.

I was being patient for long and ended up dying the hair in this color.

I really love this.

But I slept through 13 hours yesterday. I was watching tv, fell in sleep, and realized that I woke up at 10:30 in the morning.

I was late for the appointment for the hair salon.

I have to get my fatigue out.

The Corroboration Project Part II

Aya Kamiki.

I was major debuted on March 15th, 2006.  Today is the anniversary.
Including my activities in the Indies, I have spent as Aya Kamiki with you for 8 years.

This day in 2006, I was having a Korean food at Minami, Osaka and started my career by just holding a hope in my hand.
Obviously, I could not even imagine how I would be in 8 years from then, and my eyes were just shinning.
Even tough I was just performing in live concerts without knowing anything, a person who supported me was

“You.”

And soon after my debut, I was ranked in the Orikon Ranking, and staffs and everyone were delighted as if it was about them.
The lives in Tokyo and Osaka were soon expanded into the lives in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, which made me confident and brave, and I was definitely proud of myself and you.
Everything looked very good, but there were lots of thing going on behind the door.

Yes…a transfer to a new label company.

After the transfer, the center of my activity was shifted in Tokyo, and despite it was not the same label company, without a change, I was supported by

“You.”

And gradually my CD sales started falling, and I couldn’t quite understand why I sang and for whom I existed.  I wanted to create a new song rather than I had to create it, and this was my motto, and after that, I quite the new label company.  But I wasn’t going to be defeated by this, and I performed live concerts independently and released PPCs.  You were confused, but you kept on passionately supporting me.

“You”

At the first musical I performed,
I appeared before everyone for the first time.
I was repeatedly asked to do a live concert, not just concentrating on the musicals.
Some of you might have felt unwelcome,
Yet, you still came to see me and love me regardlessly.

You.

I don’t know how much I have been supported by you for last 8 years,

how much you have put up with my selfishness.

….But

I love to live selfishly.

From now on, I have no idea what is waiting and what is going to happen.

But it will be up to me what I will choose to do.

Everyone,

I will go one living selfishly.

One More Announcement

I am safely evacuated from the hospital.

I was irritated, but it"s gone somewhere, and I am sending this announcement to everyone.

I believe you know that my voice has been hoarse for last several years.

I couldn't sing as I wanted to sing, and I couldn't sing on the key I was able to do...really, this has been the number problems for me, if not the worst.

Last year, I started with the musical RENT, and without taking a break, I was working for ZANNA, and the both stages, I did them, feeling like I carried a bomb.

And I have made a decision.

Aya Kamiki.

I will clean up my vocal code for once and all.

I will have an operation.

I still have a time for TATOO14....

I have been with a polyp, but I couldn't do well with it or couldn't utilize it.

It is a commemoration for singing songs until now.

I feel somewhat sad to take it out....

But I have made a decision.

The next time when I see you, I will sing a song with a brand new voice and deliver the soul!

Please pray for me so that the operation will be successful!!!!
